DSM Worship and C-Groups (7th - 12th Grades)
Sundays 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
DSM worship provides an environment for 7th through 12th grade students to encounter God through a large group worship experience. Students are highly involved in the planning and implementing of the service through creative media, games, drama, and music. Throughout the year students hear teaching based on the foundational principles of God’s Word. After worship, students immediately break into community groups.
DSM c-groups create an environment for middle and high school students that a large group worship experience does not. The smaller setting provides a safe place for students to engage in deeper discussions of Biblical truths and be known by one another. Through the commitment of adult c-group leaders, students are known by name and their needs, hopes, dreams, joys and disappointments can be cared for. These groups are divided according to grade and gender.
GATHERING NIGHTS (7th - 12th Grades)
Sundays 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM - Meets once a month.
This time is used as an environment for students to hang out and participate in whatever exciting event is planned. We hope students will connect with their friends, peers and their C-group leader on a relational level. Some nights are an "All Gathering Night," meaning the activity lasts from 5:00-8:00 PM. Below are the Gathering Nights for the fall:
September 13 - Ice Cream Sundae Extravaganza
October 25 - Pumpkin Hunt (All)
November 29 - TBA
December 20 - Feed Your Face (All)
