Real Life Center - Key Staff
Cathy Berggren: Cathy serves as the Executive Director and has worked with the agency since 1998 when she began as a volunteer. She has been working with individuals and families for over twenty years with an undergraduate degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Her past experience includes community work, adoption, and hospital social work. Cathy is also certified in the state of Georgia as a civil and domestic mediator. She is an active member in the Fayette County Human Services Council and the Fayette Factor. Cathy and her husband have five children and four grandchildren.
Dana Eisfelder: Dana serves as Assistant Director for the Real Life Center and Real Life Store. Prior to joining the staff, she and her husband volunteered at the center for more than 4 years. Dana has an Associate in Arts degree in Business from Clayton Junior College, and Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education degrees, both in Mathematics, from The University of Georgia. She and her husband live in Fayetteville.
Jan Fender: Jan serves as our Client Care Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and worked in public health for a number of years before starting a family. Jan home schooled her children through middle school and now has one child in college and two in high school. She has been a volunteer at The Real Life Center and active as a volunteer in the community. She and her husband live in Fayette County.
Vicki Troyer: Vicki serves as our Volunteer Coordinator as well as our Food Drive Coordinator. She holds an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Arizona. She comes to the Real Life Center with a background of management in the retail industry, along with countless hours of community involvement. Vicki and her husband have 2 children.
Dave Howard: Dave serves as Accountant for the Real Life Center and has over 36 years experience in business and accounting. He graduated with an Accounting Degree from Alabama University and has held numerous positions in financial controlling, project management, and as a financial officer/advisor. Dave currently works part-time with IMEAS and the Real Life Center. He and his wife have four grown children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Michael Ray: Michael Ray serves as Executive Pastor of
Kelly Fix: Kelly is a former Client Care Coordinator for the Real Life Center; she was blessed to serve in that position for 10 years. Kelly is currently enjoying being a homemaker and volunteering at her children's school. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband of 20 years, Travis, and their two children, Jacob and Sarah.
Beth Geeslin: Beth has been a middle school math teacher at Landmark Christian School since 1996. She is an Auburn University graduate with a Bachelor of Science business degree. Her teacher certification was earned at West Georgia College. She lives in Tyrone with her husband and two sons.
Kathy Gloer: Kathy has been a Regional Director for the last 11 years at AMA for the Southeast. Prior to joining AMA, Kathy worked in the travel industry for 15 years in a management role overseeing training, customer service, sales, and operations. Kathy brings more than 25 years experience, which encompasses training, management and business development roles and includes both operational and strategic positions.
Dennis Parman: Dennis has been an air traffic controller for 26 years and operates a family horse farm on the south side of Peachtree City. He graduated from a Bible college and a 2-year technical college, with a major in Aviation. Dennis and his wife, Karen, have been married 28 years and have 5 children.
Dan Rankin: Dan is originally from Florida where he began working with Delta Air Lines in Orlando. He is now in his 23rd year and currently a dispatcher in Delta's Flight Control department. While at Delta he has worked in training, operations, customer service and project management. Dan attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando and obtained a BA in Political Science. He also has obtained his Securities and Insurance licenses working for Primerica Financial Services which he uses to help people with personal finance. Dan and his wife Karyn have two girls - Danielle and Olivia.
Ray Redlich: Ray grew up in Chicago and began working for Delta Air Lines in 1974 and is currently their General Manager of Flight Control Administration at Delta’s headquarters in Atlanta. He is married to his wife Holli of 34 years and has 3 grown daughters and 7 grandchildren. Ray is a certified quality auditor and holds several other aviation related certifications. He is an avid Bible student and is an Elder and teacher at Dogwood Church.

Dan Nelson and Leslie Camp: The Real Life Store is very fortunate to have both Dan and Leslie as part-time store managers. They share in the responsibility of managing the day-to-day operation of the store and care of the wonderful volunteers who serve with us each week.
Real Life Center and Real Life Store - Volunteers
Our volunteers are a vital part of the organization and act as support personnel, overseeing the individual programs and assisting in carrying out the day-to-day work. We currently have over one hundred committed volunteers that assist in a variety of ways.
